Whether you're creating a blood-curdling
horror or sci-fi flick, a music video with a
quirky edge, or you just want your live
performances to have a little something
extra, Shadow Circus productions are the
folks to go to for low cost creature effects
needs.
Shadow Circus productions has assisted with San
Francisco's
Edwardian Ball since 2006, creating decor
for their venue and creating a sixteen-foot long sea
creature for their performance of Edward Gorey's 'The
Tuning Fork'. In addition, they've created decor and
provided roaming entertainment for other
Paradox
Media events, designed special effects for Jill Tracy's
music video
'Haunted by the Thought of You'  and
provided prosthetic monster breasts for the cult film
'The Terror of Titty Town'.

Presently, puppet-maker Dave Haaz-baroque is providing the creature
prosthetics and puppets for a new musical horror comedy called 'A Hard
Day's Nightmare', by
Lupine Films. It will premiere November 3rd, 2011 at
the Roxie Theater in San Francisco, with additional screenings to be
advertised on this site.
According to director Richard Something, 'A Hard Day's
Nightmare' is:
"a fast, funny, scary, feature length movie
about a band trying to get across town to their last big
concert, while on the run from mummies, werewolves,
Dracula, mad scientists, skeletons, clowns, Martians and
just about every other monster on earth... Except zombies.
NO zombies appear in this film"

The music is written by script co-writer  Jamie Milliken, who
may be more familiar to long-time Shadow Circus fans by his
prior art moniker of 'Poopy Lickles.'
