| Volunteer Opportunities with the RAHS Volunteers play a key roll in the mission of the Rockford Area Historical Society. From providing tours of the Ames-Florida-Stork House to helping with special events to serving on the organization's board of trustees, the assistance volun- teers give allows the historical society to provide visitors with an exceptional experience. Opportunities are available weekly, monthly or seasonally. Come volunteer and make a difference! |

| Current Opportunities: Tour Guide - provide tours of the Ames-Florida-Stork House. Training is available. Gardening - help manage the gardens on the grounds of the Ames-Florida-Stork House (planting, weeding, seasonal clean-up). Board of Trustees - serve as a board member on the Rockford Area Historical Society's board of trustees. Children's Programs - help plan and present both on-site and off-site programs for children. Training is available. Special Events - provide assistance with special events like the Pie & Ice Cream Social, the Annual Meeting and the Christmas Tea. Museum Collections - help catalog the artifacts at the Ames-Florida-Stork House. Training is available. Quilting - assist with making the historical society's annual Rockford River Days quilt. New and experienced quilters are welcome! |
