Fuad started his teaching career in 2001, and has
taught with Özlem since 2009. In their dancing and
teaching, they like to marry the old and the new in
tango, and strive to give their students the tools
and technique to unravel the mystery of the music in
a dynamic embrace while enjoying a true connection
and communication with their partner where each
dancer leads and each dancer follows, bringing to the
dance their unique self.
They like to present their students with a good
challenge that pushes their boundaries and
encourage them to make it a part of their dance
when they stumble.
Their love and talent for tango took them to various
cities across the US to teach workshops and classes,
and to Europe to perform to international audiences.
Currently, they are based in Houston, where they
teach a group of talented and passionate students
and they are loving it!
